Style: Ready For Fall

Sunglasses: Target, Necklace: J. Crew Factory, Cardigan: Gap Outlet (Similar),
Shirt: J. Crew Factory, Bag: Fossil, Jeans: American Eagle, Shoes: J. Crew Factory

If you couldn't already tell by the title of this post, I am over summer and ready for fall. I am ready for pumpkins, changing leaves, and cooler weather.

So despite the weather still being hot, I decided to dress for the fall weather anyways. I used work as an excuse, since we have to layer up and follow a certain dress code anyway.

I am looking forward to doing a wardrobe re-boot this fall so be prepared to see some changes!

I haven't done an outfit post in awhile. This past Saturday was super busy. I started with a class on making different kinds of ice cream and sorbets. We made peach-marscarpone ice cream, fresh mint chocolate chip ice cream, mango-honey sorbet, and a blackberry-cassis sorbet. My favorite was the peach-marscarpone (possible recipe to come in the future?). Then I ran some errands in the afternoon and ended the day hanging by the pool and having a cookout with friends.

Style: Wicked

Please excuse the trash bags in the background. I didn't realize they were behind me until after we took the pictures!
Dress: Kohls
Cardigan: Gap Outlet
Flats: Frye
Bag: Kate Spade (similar)

Sunday, I traveled into the city to see Wicked! This was my first experience seeing a live musical and I absolutely loved it! The show was spectacular and I had a great time!

Before the show started, we decided to grab a quick snack. There was this cute pop-up garden across the street from the theatre that sold food. They had turned old storage units in the kitchens and had up-cycled tables all around the garden for people to sit at. It was super cute and I would definitely want to come back and check it out again (maybe at night to see all the lights)!

Style: MU

Shirt: Madewell
Sandals: Gap Outlet

It's no secret that I love kids movies. I think you're never too old for them, and can be just as fun for adults. Today, I went with a friend to see Monster's University. Of course, it was absolutely adorable and I recommend it to anyone with children or anyone who is a Pixar fan.

I included a close up of the shorts just because I love the floral print. I got these a few weekends ago at 40% off, and I have basically been living in them these past few weeks. I love the mix of navy and the pop of hot pink.

Style: Wedding Weekend

Cardigan: Gap Outlet
Shoes: Gap Outlet
Bag: Fossil
Bracelet: Pandora

I spent this past weekend up near I went to school and had a sort of mini-reunion with my college friends at a wedding.

The wedding was held outside in a local park. I didn't get too many pictures because unfortunately it was raining out. They got married under a gazebo in front of a lake.

After the ceremony we headed over to the reception where we drank, danced, and of course, ate! It was nice to be able to catch up with some people that I hadn't seen in a year.

Congrats to the happy couple!

Style: Casual Wednesday

Shirt: Gap Outlet
Jeans: American Eagle (On Sale Now!)
Flats: Gap Outlet
Bracelet: Pandora

This past week at work has been a "dress down week" in honor of teacher appreciation week. I didn't dress down the entire week, but I decided to on Wednesday, just to break up the week a bit. I tried to wear a nicer top and finished the look with some fun flats.

Also, I got my haircut this past week. I'm loving that it looks all nice and neat again!
