5 Favorite Beauty Items for Fall

 With summer winding down and fall right around the corner, I thought I would share some of my favorite makeup items to use during the fall season. I am super excited for fall. It is, without a doubt, my favorite season.

1. Essie's 'Mink Muffs'

I love brown, berry, grey, and taupe tones for fall nail polish. This color is one of my favorites for fall. It is a nice warm, brown-taupe color which falls right in my fall polish-wheelhouse. It reminds me of hot chocolate. 

2. Mac Lustre Lipstick in 'Syrup'

This is one of the newest additions to my makeup collection and I am IN LOVE with this lipstick. I think this is the perfect everyday-wear, fall lip color. Mac lustre lipsticks are sheer, and have a slight gloss-like finish. They are easy to wear and you can wear them lightly or build up the color. I also like that they are creamy and moisturizing but not super heavy on the lips. This is my first lustre lipstick but I can already tell it's going to be a favorite! Syrup is described as a 'cloudy pink'. 

3. Stila Convertible Color in 'Peony'

In the summer time, I like to go for a peachy-pink blush that gives my face a nice glowy complexion. When fall rolls around, I switch over the this one. This is pretty much the only blush I use during the fall. These convertible colors are pigmented, easy to blend, and leave a nice finish on the skin and you can also use them as lipsticks. 'Peony' is described as a rosy-brown color and I really only use it as blush. 

4. Maybelline Color Tattoo in 'Tough as Taupe' 

I love these Maybelline color tattoos cream eyeshadows! They are perfect to use as primers or to wear by themselves. They last all day and they are easy to blend. In the summer, my go-to eye look is a shimmery champagne or bronze toned one. In the fall, I love more matte looks using taupe and brown colors. I like combining tough as taupe with my Naked 2 palette and the Naked Basics palette.

5. Mac 'Stubborn Brown' Eye Pencil

The last item on my list, is Mac's Powerpoint Eye Pencil in 'Stubborn Brown'. Originally, I went in to the store looking for their 'coffee' eye pencil, but I liked the way this on applied. It goes on a lot smoother, so there is less tugging on your eye. This is just a matte, deep rich brown color, perfect for fall!
