The weather this past weekend has been a bit of a taste of what to expect for summer. Hot. It was 90 degrees and super humid. I tried to keep cool with breezy shorts and a light shirt. Although the chambray might look heavy, it's really not. It's all cotton, so it breathes quite nicely. 

I'm really liking these shorts. I don't own any other colored shorts and I do love my pops of red. I think the button details are super cute and add a slight nautical feel.

Even though my outfit today is pretty simple, the day itself wasn't. I went with my family to a college open house for my brother. It was nice being back on a college campus, but it did make me miss being at school. I realize this is my second outfit in a row with the leopard/stripe combo but I am really liking it at the moment!

It was gorgeous outside today, warm enough to wear a t-shirt, with no extra layers thrown on top. Hope everyone managed to get out and enjoy their weekend!
