Beauty: Multipurpose Makeup

I don't feel as though I have an overabundance or an out of control makeup collection. While my collection or routine isn't 'streamlined' by any means, I do find that I use almost every single item in my collection at least once a week. However, I don't always use them in the same way.

I love finding new ways to use products. It makes me feel like I am getting my moneys worth. Here are just a few that I have found more than one use for in my beauty routine.

I got this sample of the Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer with my Sephora points. I like using this as an all over primer for foundation, mixing it in with more matte foundations to create a dewy effect, or using it as a highlight on the tops of my cheekbones. Another highlighter I like to use is 'Bikini Tini' by Benefit. This is actually a cream eyeshadow, but it works as an all-over highlighter. Lastly, is the Dream Lumi Concealer by Maybelline , which I love using to conceal under my eyes but also brighten them up. This works well as a top-of-the-cheekbones highlighter as well.

The Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette is definitely something I've brought up once or twice around here. I think it is just the perfect palette if you are just getting into makeup or need to add some matte shadows to your collection. It is great on its own or using for contouring/eyeliner with other shadows. I also use it to fill in my eyebrows with a small, angled brush. Another great multi-use product from UD are their 24/7 Glide on Pencils (seriously, UD do the BEST eye products). These are great because you can use them as liner OR if you're in a rush, you can smudge them all over the lid like an eyeshadow stick.

I have also talked about the Korres Lip Butters on here many times over. They are one of my all time favorite lip products and probably my favorite multipurpose products. They can be worn on their own, like a tinted balm or you can wear them over top of lipsticks to create a lip-gloss like effect. These can also be worn as blush. Just dab it on top of the apples of your cheeks to create a nice, dewy flush. The Stila Convertible Colors were made to be worn as cream blush or as a lipstick, although I mainly wear mine as blush. Lastly, you have the ultimate multi-use product: NARs The Mulitple. These come in a variety of shades and can be used as blush, highlighter, bronzer, lipstick, eyeshadow, ect., ect.

What are some of your favorite multipurpose makeup products?
