Kids Craft: Golf Ball Prints

This craft is quick and simple but I think the effect is really neat! We had an olympic themed week at work, so I wanted to do something sports related. I had the kids make these marble-golf ball prints. They had fun making them and I think they turned out really cool.

All you need to make these are:
  • Golf Ball(s)
  • Construction Paper
  • Plastic Bin (make sure it's large enough so that the construction paper fits in it)
  • Paint

You can use any color paper and paint combo you like. I chose these colors because it's what we had a surplus of. You could substitute something else if you don't have a golf ball handy (marbles would work well). To make the prints, place the paper in the bottom of your plastic bin. Then roll the golf ball in your paint. Place the golf ball in the bin and roll it around on the paper to get the splatter effect.

And voila! If you look closely you can see the track marks from the golf ball.
Happy crafting! :)
