What's In My Makeup Bag #2

I haven't done a what's in my bag style post since the summer time, and with cold weather upon us, I thought I'd share what I've been keeping in my sort-of 'winter essentials' makeup bag.

I got this little Kate Spade bag as an early christmas present and have been using it for my makeup. I like that it also has slots for cards, so I could use it for more than just a makeup bag. As always, I have my little Sephora mirror for on the go touchups.

I have just started using this Soap and Glory Hand Cream and I really love it. It's moisturizing, but not greasy, and smells amazing. It is also fairly inexpensive (I got this one for $5.00 in the little travel section at Sephora) and it is the perfect size for your purse.

I also got this Lip Balm to try. I have extremely dry and flaky lips and I have heard this is the creme de la creme of lip balms. I have to say, the reviews were not lying! This is smoothing, plumping and very moisturizing. It also adds a slight tint of pink and a bit of a glossy sheen to your lips. Lately, on my lazy makeup days, I have just been wearing this. I have also been carrying this handy Lip Exfoliator. If my lips happen to get super flaky when I'm out and about, I can simply exfoliate with this, without having to use a messy pot or container of sugar scrub.

The only two makeup bits I've been carrying are concealer and my current favorite lipstick. I have been using Benefit's Fake Up, because it is super hydrating and doesn't cling to dry patches on the skin. Finally, I always have some sort of lipstick or tinted balm in my purse, just in case I want to add some color to my look. My current, everyday favorite for the colder months is MAC's 'Syrup'.
