August Snapshots

This has been one of the bests months I've had all summer! I got to squeeze in a few trips, go to a concert, take a class and learn something new, and spend some time with some of my favorite kiddos. Summer is winding down, and while I will miss the vacation time, I am excited for the fall and to get back to teaching!

At the beginning of the month we took a trip to Citi Field to see the New York Mets play the Kansas City Royals. I had never been to Citi field (only Shea) and love going to baseball games, so this trip was quite enjoyable. We enjoyed beautiful weather, lots of tasty ballpark treats, and a quick trip into the Mets Hall of Fame.

It was back to nannying at the end of the month. To keep the kids busy, we had a day of mini golf (followed by ice cream). I also took them to the local park and we enjoyed a nice picnic complete with fresh watermelon!

I finally got to see Maroon 5 this month! I had ordered the tickets awhile back and had been looking forward to this all summer! They are one of my all time favorite bands. Hard to believe that Songs About Jane is over a decade old!
