I recently picked up these pants from the J. Crew factory. At first, I was a little intimidated by the color, but after playing around on polyvore, I found these to be pretty versatile and a great color for fall. So, I decided to try another one item, three ways post. I will actually be featuring one of these outfits in my next post!
1. Wear to Work
Untitled #66 by kadunnin featuring orange ballet flats
This is the more professional of the three outfits and would be great to wear to work. I love how 'teachery' this looks! I've paired the pants with a neutral sweater and flats, and a gingham button-down to dress it up a bit. I would wear my Fossil Maddox Satchel as a tote, to make it more professional looking. I would keep my makeup fairly neutral using the always fabulous Urban Decay Naked Basics. Finally, add a big watch and some coordinating bracelets.
2. Weekend Wear
For a more casual look, I went with a simple, white button down and classic riding-style boots. I would wear the watch on its own, just to keep things pretty casual and use an easy-to-carry crossbody satchel. Finally, I added a little bit of punch to a simple outfit with a skinny leopard belt.
3. Party
The last look I went for, is a dressier look that would be great for the upcoming holiday season (seriously, it will probably be here before we know it). I love this top from Madewell because of the lace collar, and it fits like a t-shirt so it is still super comfy. I am COVETING this Great Gatsby clutch from kate spade and hoping that it goes to the outlet. I think it adds such a fun element to an outfit. I swapped out flats for a pair of classic black pumps and added a little pearl bracelet to play off the pearls on the book-clutch. Finally, I would use the Naked Basics Palette (again) and smoke out that neutral eye for a more dramatic look.
